usually grows 15ft tall. Leaves are large, fern-like in appearance, or
composed of numerous leaflets each of which is deeply serrated. Leaves of the
Golden Prince variety change color from green to golden yellow in exposure to
full or partial sun. Otherwise, leave are mainly light green in color. Flower
are large, but not showy occasionally forming clusters. Fruit are small and
black at maturity. Synonym: Aralia
