appears to be a self heading philodendron but in reality it is a monstrous
climber with huge brownish green draping leaves and a pinkish-maroon
underside. Thought to be
the first man-made philodendron hybrid. Created in the 1880’s at the public
gardens of ‘La Cascine’ in Florence, Italy and named after Prince Corsini. It
is said to be a hybrid of Philodendron verrucosum and Philodendron
pinnatifidum. |
