NOTES | A
giant bromeliad species endemic to Brazil, growing to an enormous 5 feet
across. The foliage is most impressive with strap-like pointy leathery pale
green leaves frosted with a silver powder form a stunning rosette. In the
right light it has a soft blue tint. The inflorescence can reach 5 feet high
and consists of a tall spike branched with yellow fragrant flowers. It can
take anywhere from 3 to 5 years to flower. |
