‘Painted Lady’ is a striking aroid, with bright pink petioles (the stalk that
joins a leaf to a stem) and chartreuse leaves. The new leaves unfurl bright
yellow-green before fading to a bit deeper mottled green as the plant grows.
According to the University of Florida, this Philodendron species is a hybrid
of two-parent Philodendrons, P. Erubescens Burgundy plant, and P. Erubescens
Emerald Queen plant. |
