A broadleaf evergreen tree that grows to 50ā€™ tall. It is widely grown in the tropics as an ornamental tree or hedge. Glossy, pointed, oval to elliptic leaves (to 4ā€ long). Twigs arch gracefully. Stems have milky sap.
