NOTES | Because of its bright
red crownshafts and leaf sheaths, Cyrtostachys renda has become a popular
ornamental plant in many tropical regions around the world. It can grow to 16 meters (52 feet) tall as a dense
clustering palm. Because of difficulties propagating them it demands a high
price and as such is not used much in ornamental landscapes. |
